Ciao a tutti, oggi lasciamo da parte i modelli e dedichiamoci alla storia. Vorrei mostrarvi le foto del Bunker di casa Savoia a Roma, in quella che è l'attuale villa Ada. Il bunker dista pochi metri dalla residenza imperiale ed era possibile raggiungerlo in macchina in 2\3 minuti e possedeva un ingresso carrabile, che permetteva alle macchine di esser posteggiate direttamente nel sito. La costruzione fu scavata in un banco tufaceo.
Una particolarità riguarda il portone a due battenti, ancora in situ. Portoni in ferro battuto con un colata di cemento nella struttura in ferro.. risultato? 1800 kg, il peso delle singole ante.. Sicuramente un ottimo sistema! Vi erano le stanze della famiglia imperiale e un relativo bagno e una prima stanza a sinistra della porta blindata che fungeva da posto di guardia, con molta probabilità. Un sistema di areazione permetteva un ricircolo di aria anche durante un bombardamento piuttosto lungo. Ma come uscire in caso di allarme? Era stata fatta una scala a chiocciola in travertino, che permetteva a coloro che erano nel bunker di uscire all'aperto, da una struttura in mattoni cilindrica con un tetto a fungo; vicino a questa struttura abbiamo anche una specie di tettoia, in cemento, che fungeva da primo accorgimento contro i bombardamenti alleati, piuttosto costanti dagli ultimi anni di guerra. Ad oggi abbiamo anche un altro reperto originale, il telefono. A proposito di pezzi originali, purtroppo, bisogna segnalare la perdita di altri arredi o simili, che sono andati persi negli anni e lasciati all'incuria. Anche le piastrelle del bagno, addirittura, sono state fatte ricreare per l'apertura al pubblico e al seguito del restauro. Guarnizioni in gomma servivano per rendere il tutto più sicuro! Il bunker rimane poi in stato di abbandono dopo la data dell'armistizio e solo negli ultimi anni ha avuto restauri ed è stato ripulito. Solo così è stato riconsegnato alla cittadinanza!

The bunker is just a few meters from the imperial residence and it was possible to reach it in the car in 2 \ 3 minutes and had a carriage entrance which allowed the machines to be parked directly on the site. The building was dug into a tufaceous bench.
A peculiarity concerns the two-wing door, still in situ. Wrought iron gates with a casting of concrete in the iron structure .. result? 1800 kg, the weight of the single doors .. Definitely a great system! There were the rooms of the imperial family and its bathroom and a first room on the left of the armored door that acted as a guard, most likely. A ventilation system allowed a recirculation of air even during a rather long bombing. But how to get out in case of an alarm? It had been made of a travertine spiral staircase, which allowed those in the bunker to go outdoors, from a cylindrical brick structure with a mushroom roof; Close to this structure we also have a kind of concrete shed, which acted as a front against the bo, allied bardes, rather constant from the last years of war. To date we have another original piece of equipment, the phone. Regarding original pieces, unfortunately, it is necessary to point out the loss of other furnishings or the like, which have been lost in the years and left to lurking. Even the bathroom tiles, even, have been recreated for public opening and restoration. Rubber gaskets were used to make everything safer! The bunker is still abandoned after the Armistice's date and only in recent years has had restorations and was cleaned up. Only then was it returned to citizenship!
